This course is taught to undergraduate students in the Biology Department at KAU as an elective (optional) course.
In this course students are introduced to the concept of culturing cells and tissues of animal origin. Then the students are taught the different ways of culturing cells and tissues. Media types and components are also covered in this course. At last students will learn about the medical and scientific applications of Animal cell and tissue culture.
